School Treks
Investa Treks have School Trek Packages that can be designed to suit school requirements, and encourages leadership and self-confidence development. Our standard packages include a day at school, a day working alongside local villagers in their gardens, followed by a Kokoda Trek. It also incorporates a 'Student Requirements' page that can be adjusted to suit. It can include: research, assignments, public speaking, writing news articles and journalling etc.
Australian students learn to appreciate their lives, how to interact with different cultures, to focus on what is important, to develop a heart to help others, how to present themselves, the importance of research and Australian history. Students work through different areas and challenges, that are raised in the process, that help to develop their character, and helps to guide future decisions. Teachers & carers are also a very important role, speaking into the lives of the students throughout their experience, and the journey can be one of transition from child to young adult.

The safety of all trekkers is of utmost importance. All trekkers receive a personal first aid kit, and all treks have a comprehensive first aid kit and staff responsible, and qualified in first aid. On all treks our Head Guide holds a Satellite Phone for updates and in case of an emergency. Radio communication is also kept where possible, amongst the group for risk management and practical purposes. We also carry a satellite tracking device that allow family members to be updated on the progress of the group via email. Text message updates are also sent to family members back home to reassure them of trekker safety.
All trekkers are required to hold Personal Travel Insurance, and All treks are cover by our Public Liability Insurance Cover.
