Village Stay
Option for accommodation or additional stay in the fishing village of Gaire before your Kokoda Trek.
Trekkers are invited to consider another option as part of their package.
For groups we give the opportunity for you to choose instead of staying in Port Moresby, to take the drive out to the fishing village of Gaire, where you will get to stay in the village where we completed the 2011 building project. This not only gives you a totally different perspective of PNG, you also get meals, accommodation, and transfers.
If you are interested in this option, depending on the group size but usually works out the same, and also allows trekkers to know that they are supporting the people of PNG.
